I love using local ingredients in my cooking at the inn to give our guests the best of what our area has to offer. The following farms are all with 1-2 miles of the inn. Stop by and pick up some fresh, mouthwatering ingredients for your Labor Day weekend festivities before the summer comes to a close!
Hank’s Farmstand & Pumpkintown – both walkable from the inn. Bailey and I often take an afternoon walk to pick up veggies & fruits for dinner and next day breakfast. Halsey Farm has the most beautiful selection of veggies and flowers. They also have local seasonal fruit from other local farmers. Green Thumb offers organic veggies.
If you would like to get into the fields or the orchards,

then you can pick berries at Hank’s Farmstand. Seven Ponds Orchard has berries and apple picking, and our favorite activity, starting in September, is apple picking at The Milk Pail Orchard, where they grow over 23 varieties of apples. Come September, Hank’s Pumpkintown will be the main attraction.
White Fences Inn is conveniently located close to so many great farm stands — I am sure you will find one that will become your favorite! Guests always make sure to visit the farm stands before heading home so they can bring a taste of the Hamptons with them wherever they go!
