A Hampton Thanksgiving might be just what you need this year. It’s hard to believe it’s only 10 days away but don’t worry there is still time to plan.
The Hamptons offer so many options for the holiday. Have you ever considered booking the inn for your family and then having dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants here. The first year we owned our first inn we had a family “take over” the entire inn so they could spend time relaxing with each other. No one had to shop, cook or clean. They just relaxed and really enjoyed each others company, left their hectic lives at home. Doesn’t that sound appealing? Wake to our scrumptious breakfast after a restful night’s sleep in our comfy beds, all rooms also have gas fireplaces for the ultimate relaxation. After breakfast watch the parade and then a beach walk before your Thanksgiving dinner.
Let us help make your dinner reservation at Jean George, American Hotel, 1770 House, or Stone Creek Inn.
A Hampton Thanksgiving just might be the best Thanksgiving ever!
Do you prefer to cook?
Perhaps you just love entertaining and Thanksgiving is your favorite time to cook. You might love planning a visit the weekend before Thanksgiving to do your shopping at the local Hampton farms for all you need to prepare your dinner. You can order your turkey from North Sea Farm where they raise turkeys and eggs. Next stop at Halsey Farms, Green Thumb Organic Farm, or a County Place for your potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots, herbs, butternut squash, beets, onions, kale, all locally grown.
Dessert – no worries if you don’t like to bake you can stop by Tate’s. You know you love her cookies almost as much as mine but have you had the pies? If you like baking like I do, then you can get all the apples for your pies and crisps you need at Milk Pail.
Of course you will need wine & cheese, we have you covered on that too. A Hampton Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without our locally made cheese. Your cheese plate wouldn’t be complete without artisanal cheese from Mecox Bay Dairy.Wolffer Estate Vineyard has so many wonderful reds, whites, rose, hard ciders (made from apples from Milk Pail Orchards) or perhaps you might like to have their sparkling wine which by the way has been served at the White House.
Give us a call and we will be happy to assist with booking a room and any dining reservations you need.
