And just like that is it May and we are getting ready for summer! It’s been a rainy Spring, more rain than we hope for but the rain will help the hydrangeas as they are getting ready to blossom. We have a few surprises and updates to share with you as we get ready to welcome our summer guests.
We have finally found the perfect use for our pool house! In about two weeks the renovation of the pool house into our new meeting room will be complete. There will be no reason for you to be in the office when you can work from here. The meeting room will be complete with a conference table, flat screen tv, white board and printer. We also hope to accommodate small business groups who need an off-site location. The meeting room will complimentary to our guests staying with us but can also be booked for day use.
Our beautiful in-ground pool is also under renovation. Wait until you see how beautiful it is. You won’t want to be any place else but sitting in our backyard.
I am always searching to bring beautiful, locally made if possible and carefully selected amenities to the inn. Plain T located right here in Southampton has the finest selection of teas I have ever tasted, there is so much I didn’t know about teas! Their teas are all chosen from the finest tea growers, tested for pesticides and the tea bags are hand packed right here in Southampton. I am so excited to share this beautiful product with you. Another new “treat” this summer will be Five North Chocolates. You know how much I love chocolate and hope you will enjoy this healthy new snack also locally made. The chocolate snacks are organically certified, Fair Trade Certified and LCBTBE Certified basically guilt free!
