Come into the kitchen and learn how to make the ultimate soup with Chef Derek Bissonnette. You will be one of the first to receive a copy of chef’s first cookbook – The Ultimate Book of Soups and Stews.

The weekend will begin with a wine & cheese social  Friday evening and book signing. After breakfast you will visit a local farm stand to select ingredients for the soup. Upon returning to the inn the cooking demo will begin! Chef will show you how to make his butternut squash soup with Maine diver scallops and Chinese 5 spice cream with your assistance. Lunch will be the soup you help make followed by dessert of apple tatin made by Liz. Enjoy an afternoon visit to Wolffer Estate Vineyard for wine tasting. The balance of the afternoon is yours to explore the Hamptons.

Start each day with our three course gourmet served breakfast, chef’s whim.

Then you are off to a tour and tasting at Widow’s Hole Oyster farm in Greenport (BYO wine),  a tasting and tour at Mecox Diary Farm, where you might even learn about the turkeys, beef and pork they are now offering – talk about fresh, next a private premier wine tasting and tour at Wolffer Estate Vineyards. We couldn’t leave out a private class at the inn and to finish off the package we are including dinner for two (beverages not included,) last but not least home made chocolate truffles -we can’t leave out chocolate!
